Description :(Scroll down to see enlarged views) This rare item is a latex head sculpted by artist, Angie Ward, as a prototype for masks to be made of Boris Karloff as a mad scientist character from old movies of him in the late 30's - 40's. The head was approved for likeness and signed by Sara Karloff, Boris Karloff's daughter in 1999. Perfect for Halloween decor or for your Cabinet of Curiosities! Very haunting and spooky! It is life size. It is thick and heavy but has a hollow center where you can put it on a stand of sorts so the beard hangs all the way down. Works on a tall candle stand too but the stand in the pictures is not included. The beard is attached but the head hair just sits on top of his head, used to be glued on. The artist also worked on many movies such as The Perfect Storm and Deep Blue Sea creating life like creatures. The artist is now deceased so we weren't able to find out the names of the movies this mad scientist character is from.
