Description :(Scroll down to see enlarged views) Previously not for sale, I have decided I can part with this unusual piece for the right price. It is a very rare antique sedan chair coach from the 1700's. Used like a human powered taxi back in the day! Four men would put poles through the brackets on the lower sides and pick it up carrying the passenger to his or her destination. It is leather covered with lots of old hardware and a center plaque from the King's Coach Factory in London. The inside upholstery is pristine old rose colored brocade with more hardware. The wavy glass windows look original. There are some splits in the leather on the outside but I guess we are lucky to have it at all. In my shop people think it is an old coin operated gypsy fortune telling booth. The gypsy mannequin shown inside is not included. No shipping on this, or arrange your own shipping with insurance. Pick it up at the shop. One of a kind must have treasure! Would be a great movie prop as well!
